HUNTINGDON, Pa.- On Friday, the Continental Volleyball Conference announced its All-Academic Team for 2017. Representing Juniata are Sean Cavanagh (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley), Zach Guiciardi (Creighton, Pa./Deer Lakes), David Hibner (Burke, Va./Lake Braddock Secondary), Morgan Pierce (Carpinteria, Calif./Cate School), Matt Schaeffer (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern), and Michael Young (Westlake Village, Calif./Westlake Village).
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- For the third match in a row, Juniata men’s volleyball faced a deficit and needed a comeback to win their match against Wentworth in the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Leopards would not oblige as they defeated JC 3-0 on Friday night at Blake Arean on the campus of Springfield College. The Leopards advance to play SUNY New Paltz in tomorrow’s semifinals.
LEXINGTON, Ky.- The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its 14th annual AVCA Men's Volleyball Division III All-American Teams on Monday. Senior middle blocker Kyle Seeley (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) was named to the Second Team. Seeley was also a Second Team selection last season.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Staring down a 2-0 deficit against NYU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday night, the Juniata men’s volleyball team saved its biggest comeback of the season for the right time. The Eagles rallied for a thrilling 3-2 victory in front of a packed and raucous Memorial Gym crowd to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals next Friday in Springfield, Mass.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Continental Volleyball Conference on Wednesday announced its top individual awards for the 2017 season. Juniata head coach Glenn DeHaven was named the Coach of the Year. He joins Kevin Moore (2013) as Eagles coaches who have earned this honor from the CVC.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- With their win Saturday against Eastern Mennonite in the Continental Volleyball Championship, the Juniata men's volleyball team secured the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. This would be the Eagles’ third tournament appearance.
ARLINGTON, Va.- In the most fitting fashion, the 2017 Continental Volleyball Conference championship match went to five sets for the first time ever. To make it even more epic, it took more than 15 points to decide a champion. In the end, the Juniata men’s volleyball team came out on top as the Eagles recovered from a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2 and claim the CVC title.
ARLINGTON, Va.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team was one step away from the Continental Volleyball Conference title match on Friday as it faced off against Stevenson in the semifinals. The Eagles were able to get past their first hurdle as they defeated the defending champion Mustangs 3-1 to advance to the championship.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball ended its 2017 regular season on Saturday night with a home match against Cairn. The Eagles swept the Highlanders in straight sets 3-0.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team hosted Rutgers-Newark in the penultimate regular season game on Friday night at Memorial Gym. The Eagles took care of the Scarlet Raiders in three sets winning by scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-21.
READING, Pa.- Needing a win in their last three matches to secure a spot in the Continental Volleyball Conference Tournament, the Juniata men’s volleyball team did so with a resounding 3-0 victory over Alvernia on Wednesday night. The win, the Eagles’ fourth in a row, improves their overall record to 17-10 and their CVC record to 9-3.
OWINGS MILLS, MD.- The last time Juniata and Stevenson met in men’s volleyball back on February 24, the two teams played four close sets with the Mustangs winning 3-1 in Huntingdon. On Friday night in Maryland, it was not nearly as close and it was the Eagles on the winning end in a 3-0 victory.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata men’s volleyball hosted Eastern Mennonite on Tuesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles were looking for payback against the Royals for their 3-1 loss back on March 18 and earned it with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 28-26) victory.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata men’s volleyball hosted Vassar and Arcadia on Saturday afternoon in a tri-match at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles fell to the #4 Brewers 3-0 but defeated the Knights 3-0 in the last match of the day.
