LEXINGTON, Ky.- The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its 14th annual AVCA Men's Volleyball Division III All-American Teams on Monday. Senior middle blocker Kyle Seeley (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) was named to the Second Team. Seeley was also a Second Team selection last season.
Seeley led the Continental Volleyball Conference with a .429 hitting percentage while also ranking in the top ten in kills and kills per set. His hitting percentage is fifth in the NCAA while his blocks per set is 10th. He was named to the All-Conference Team and named the CVC Tournament Most Valuable Player after totaling 27 kills and 12 block assists to go along with a .434 hitting percentage as the Eagles defeated Stevenson and Eastern Mennonite to win the CVC title.
Seeley is second on the Eagles in kills with 288 and leads in total blocks with 113. His total blocks are a career high.
Juniata faces Wentworth in the NCAA Quarterfinals this Friday in Springfield, Mass. Match time will be at 8:00 p.m.
