Week 4- Frostburg
Last weekend, Katrina broke the school record in the 5k, which is the first record of the outdoor season so far. There are a few others on the team who are so close to school records so hopefully this was the start for record breaking and it will continue this weekend.
This Saturday, we are heading to Frostburg for the first time since I've been here (at least 4 years) so I'm excited to see what their track is like. As a whole, Frostburg is a friendly team and they always attend our home meets so it only seems right that we go to theirs.
There are only four teams going to this meet, but that means it won't take too long and people who usually don't make it to finals in events will make it and get extra practice. Hopefully the team can gain confidence from this weekend and use it to propel us to the second half of the outdoor season.
