Juniata women’s hoops climbs D3hoops.com poll; debuts in USA Today/ESPN poll
Juniata College women’s basketball jumped up three places in this week’s D3hoops.com poll while the Eagles made their debut in the USA Today/ESPN Division III women’s basketball poll, when both polls were unveiled on Tuesday.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College women's basketball jumped up three places in this week's D3hoops.com poll while the Eagles made their debut in the USA Today/ESPN Division III women's basketball poll, when both polls were unveiled on Tuesday.
Juniata (11-1, 1-0 Landmark) moved up to No. 15 in the D3hoops.com Top 25, after checking in at 18th in the pre-holiday break poll released on December 20. Juniata's climb came at the expense of Lebanon Valley (10-1), UW-River Falls (11-1), and Babson (8-2), all of whom fell below the Eagles in this week's rankings.
The Women's Basketball Coaches Association unveiled its first regular season USA Today/ESPN Division III Top 25 coaches poll, and Juniata debuted in the No. 19 slot.
The USA Today/ESPN poll is selected by nine Division III head coaches, all of whom are members of the WBCA. The D3hoops.com poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors, and media members from across the country.
