Women’s basketball jolts up three spots on D3Hoops.com poll
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata women’s basketball bumped up to no. 17 on the D3Hoops.com Top 25 Poll as of Sunday, Dec. 4, with its first Landmark win of the season over Susquehanna University.

An 83-53 win over the Crusaders last Saturday helped women's hoops jump three spots from last week's poll at no. 20 with 199 points.
The Eagles' upcoming opponent on Saturday, Dec. 10, William Paterson (7-0) retained its no. six spot on the poll with 498 points. For the second week in a row, no other Landmark Conference squads have received votes to be in the top 25.
Amherst College (5-0) remains at first with 20 first place votes and 618 points. University of Chicago (4-0) also stayed-put at second with 599 points and four first place votes.
The weekly poll is voted on by a panel of coaches, sports information directors, and media members from across the nation.
Women's hoops will try to extend its undefeated record to 8-0, Tuesday night in Kennedy S+RC against Dickinson College. Tip-off it scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
