Bankos strikes again for Landmark POW

The squad improved to 6-0 with wins against Mount Aloysius, Saint Vincent and Frostburg State over the Thanksgiving holiday. The undefeated start of the season is the best in program history.
Over the three games Bankos averaged 18 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and three steals. Additionally she posed a .550 shooting percentage from the field.
Bankos gave her best effort in the Eagles 76-63 win over Saint Vincent with 26 logged points as she played all 40 minutes of the contest. She also recorded six assists and as many rebounds accompanied by five steals.
Prior to the holiday, Bankos reached the 20-point mark in Juniata's 74-52 victory over the Mounties, while pulling down seven rebounds.
Against the Frostburg State Bobcats, Bankos led the squad in steals with three and rebounds with six.
Juniata will look to continue its winning streak at home on Saturday, Dec. 3 in its first Landmark Conference game against rival Susquehanna University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
