Clapper Named Landmark Field Athlete of the Week
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – For the second week in a row, Juniata men’s outdoor track and field claimed a weekly honor from the Landmark Conference. Senior Justin Clapper (Buffalo Mills, Pa./Bedford) was named field athlete of the week, the organization announced Monday.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – For the second week in a row, Juniata men's outdoor track and field claimed a weekly honor from the Landmark Conference. Senior Justin Clapper (Buffalo Mills, Pa./Bedford) was named field athlete of the week, the organization announced Monday.
Clapper won both the hammer throw and discus throw at the Juniata Invitational Saturday. His toss of 46.05m set a new personal record in the hammer throw. He also won the discus by over a meter, finishing with a 39.70m mark.
Juniata track and field has now won five weekly honors this year, including the indoor season. The Eagles head to Selinsgrove, Pa. next for the Susquehanna Invitational on Saturday, March 30.
