Bauer earns Landmark Men’s Field Athlete of the Week award

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College's Nicholas Bauer (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge) had a pair of top-five performances in the WVU Holiday Classic to kick-off the indoor track season, an effort that has earned the senior Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week, released Monday.

Bauer jumped 21' 1 ½" in the long jump, landing him in second place, his best finish of the meet. In the triple jump, Bauer leapt 40' 3 ½" to earn fifth place.

Juniata kicked-off the 2011 indoor season at the WVU Holiday Classic, but doesn't return to the track until after the New Year. The Eagles will travel up the river to Susquehanna University January 22, 2012 for the Susquehanna Orange and Maroon Classic.
