Three Eagles Named to Landmark Men’s Tennis All-Conference Team

TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference on Tuesday announced its All-Conference Team. Juniata was represented by Dean Polisena (Adelaide, Australia/Saint Ignatius) on the First Team and Matyas Kohout (Prague, Czech Republic/Gymnasium Jizni Mesto) on the Second Team in singles. Polisena and Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay/EIHU) were both selected to the First Team as a doubles pair.

Roy Liberman and Dean Polisena won 8-4 at first doubles for Juniata.
Men’s Tennis Falls to Goucher in Landmark Championship 5-1

ALTOONA, Pa.- For the second straight time match, the Juniata men’s tennis team had to move indoors at the Summit Tennis and Athletic Club in Altoona Pa. Visiting Goucher led 2-1 after doubles play and won three matches in singles to take the Landmark Championship 5-1.

Dan Ansel's win at fifth singles was the deciding point of the match.
Men’s Tennis Holds Off Drew in Landmark Semis; Advances to Championship

ALTOONA, Pa.- The Juniata men’s tennis team did not let a change of venue affect their play in the Landmark semifinals against Drew. The Eagles led 2-1 after doubles and went on to take three of five singles matches on their way to a 5-3 win on Tuesday afternoon at the Summit Tennis and Athletic Club.

Men’s Tennis Falls to Drew In Regular Season Finale

MADISON, NJ- Having already clinched the top seed in the upcoming Landmark Tournament, the Juniata men’s tennis team wrapped up its regular season against Drew. The Rangers were able to come away with a 5-4 win to give the Eagles their first conference loss of the season.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. Earlier this week, the Landmark Conference announced its All-Decade Team in Women’s Tennis. The Eagles were represented by current sophomore Lauren Lucas and the doubles duo of former players Megan Phillips and Heather Waring.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Eagles had a 9-0 victory against Moravian today on the Raffensberger-Brumbaugh Courts. The team is now 2-0 in conference play and 4-1 overall.

Men’s Tennis Tops Catholic in Landmark Opener

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Fresh off its home win over Randolph-Macon on Wednesday, the Juniata men’s tennis team played its first Landmark Conference match of the season on Saturday against Catholic. The Eagles swept singles play on their way to a 7-2 victory over the Cardinals.

Men’s Tennis Shuts Out Randolph Macon 9-0 in Home Opener

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s tennis team played its first ever regular season match on its new courts on Wednesday afternoon against Randolph-Macon. The Eagles came away victorious with a 9-0 win over the Yellowjackets.

GETTYSBURG, Pa.- The Juniata and Gettysburg men’s tennis match was suspended due to darkness on Friday. The Eagles were ahead 4-3 when the last two matches were halted.
