IRVING, TEXAS - 10 members of the Juniata football team earned membership to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, it was announced today. The organization recognizes football student-athletes from every division who have maintained a 3.2 cumulative GPA while being a starter in their last year of eligibility.
Longtime Juniata football assistant coach Steve Hayes, who coached at both the high school and college levels, passed away suddenly last Thursday December 29. He was 67.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Senior wide receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) has been named to the D3football.com All-South Region Second Team. He is the second Juniata player to earn D3football.com All-Region honors and the first since Brendan Felus was named to the First Team in 2013.
DANBURY, CONN.- The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its Division III South Football All-Star Teams. Senior wide receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) was one of 12 offensive players named to the First Team.

AUSTIN, Texas- The College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) announced its Academic All-America Division III Football Team on Tuesday. Juniata sophomore defensive back Joel Reighard (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area HS) was selected to the Second Team and was one of 49 players from all of Division III to be named. He is the first Eagle since both Matt Carver and Patrick Brown were named to the First Team in 2004 and the seventh overall in team history.
LANCASTER, Pa.- The Centennial Conference on Thursday released its Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester. 10 members of the Juniata football team were selected.

Senior wide receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) was the lone Juniata player named to the First Team. He is the first Eagle receiver to be selected to the First Team since Lance Tippett in 2007.
SELINSGROVE, Pa.- It was a two-touchdown game in the fourth quarter but host Susquehanna scored three straight times to pull away as the River Hawks upended Juniata 63-34 on Saturday afternoon in the annual Goalpost Game. The Goalpost trophy stays in Selinsgrove for a second straight season.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Visiting Moravian put up 667 yards of total offense with quarterback Mike Hayes passing for 516 yards as the Greyhounds took down Juniata 42-20 on Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium. The loss drops the Eagles to 4-5 overall and 3-5 in the Centennial. Moravian ends its three-game winless streak and improves to 5-4 overall and 4-4 in the conference.

McDaniel’s Bamasa Bailor caught a 10-yard touchdown pass with 4:16 remaining in the fourth quarter as the visiting Green Terror defeated Juniata 20-13 on Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium. The loss evens Juniata’s record at 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the Centennial while McDaniel improves to 3-5 and 3-4 in the CC.
