Bio
Jessica joined the Juniata College Eagles as the assistant cheerleading coach in the 2009 winter season.
Jessica’s cheerleading experience started at the age of five when she was a mascot for the Woodcock Valley Colts. She continued as a Pee Wee Cheerleader through the age of 12. She then cheered for the Huntingdon Bearcats as a Junior High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity Cheerleader. As a Bearcats Varsity Cheerleader, Jessica was under the leadership of Juniata head coach Kristy Launtz.
Powell is a 2003 graduate of Central Pennsylvania College located in Summerdale, Pa., with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science majoring in Travel and Tourism Operations.
In addition to serving as the Eagles' assistant cheerleading coach, Jessica is employed by AAA Central Penn as a Member Service Specialist. She has been employed with AAA since 2005. She currently resides in Huntingdon.
Jessica is looking forward to the experiences that will come with serving as the Eagles' assistant cheerleading coach.
