A three-year football letter winner and starter fullback, Bob Sill was named to the All-State third team in his sophomore year when he led Juniata's Tangerine Bowl team in rushing. He was also second in the state for total rushing during the 1955 regular season. An honorable mention All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection as a senior when he led the team in pass receiving, he played on undefeated teams in 1954, 1955 and 1958 - never losing a football game while playing at Juniata. He also earned a baseball letter in 1955, and went on to manage and play semi-professional baseball in the Bristol, Pa., area.
