HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Four Eagles have earned Landmark Conference All-Academic Team honors, the league announced Tuesday. Seniors Brice Morey (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) and Angela Shaffer (Prospect, Pa./Slippery Rock) with junior Elliott Perow (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) and sophomore Heather Waring (San Antonio, Texas/John Jay) were named the top two male and female student-athletes who excelled in the classroom and in their respective sports this spring for Juniata.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Landmark Conference has released its 2013 Spring Academic Honor Roll and 29 Juniata College student-athletes have made the cut. The Eagles are of at least sophomore status and have maintained a 3.2 cumulative GPA while competing in their respective sports. Among the recipients are 10 all-conference selections and four Landmark Champions.

Held Sunday night on campus, the event also recognized the departments “Big Five”, the top five senior student-athletes who have made incredible contributions not only to their respective sports, but the institution as a whole over the course of their four years.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata women’s tennis team will begin just the third playoff run in program history when they travel to play Goucher in the Landmark Tournament semifinals. The team’s playoff berth represents just the second for Juniata since entering the Landmark Conference.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – After their initial meeting with Susquehanna was cut short, the Eagles returned to finish their match with the Crusaders, Sunday afternoon. After beginning the day up 2-1, having completed doubles play earlier, the Eagles went on to take four of the six singles matches, and earn their thirteenth victory.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Juniata women’s tennis team moved to 12-4 overall and 2-2 in the Landmark Conference after a victory over the Greyhounds of Moravian, Saturday afternoon. The Eagles have been road warriors in 2012-13, having won all over their matches away from home. This win marked their sixth road victory thus far.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Juniata College women's tennis team has now won four of its last five matches after sweeping York College 9-0 Saturday afternoon. Juniata (11-4) currently has the second-best team record in program history with three matches remaining before the Landmark Conference Championships.
Westminster, Md. -The Juniata College women's tennis team moved to 10-4 in 2012-2013 and remained undefeated on the road this season. The Eagles swept McDaniel on Friday, winning by a score of 9-0, to push their overall record to 10-4. The win also moved Juniata into a second place tie for best record in program history.
Williamsport, Pa. – With another win on Tuesday against Lycoming, the Juniata women’s tennis team moved to 9-3 this season. Nine wins puts the Eagles in a tie for the third most wins in program history and is the most wins the Juniata women's tennis program has had since 2009-10.
