Baltimore, Md.- The Juniata women's soccer team picked up a 3-1 win at Notre Dame of Maryland University, Wednesday afternoon at Alumnae Field.
Sydney Simpson, Naomi Rich, and Gracie French each scored once for the Eagles. Savanna Murray had two assists while Kylie Dries had one. Emma Stiller made one save in goal for the Eagles.
Juniata found the back of the net early, with Dries finding Simpson for the game's opening goal three minutes in.
In the 19th minute, Murray set up Rich to double the Eagle lead.
Juniata went into the locker room up 2-0, and holding an 11-1 advantage in shots.
Nine minutes into the second half, the Gators got one back.
In the 68th minute, Murray provided the assist again, this time for Franch, who redoubled the Eagle lead.
Juniata saw out the match and didn't allow the Gators a shot the rest of the way.
The Eagles are currently on a three-game winning streak and will host Keystone on Friday at 6:00.
