Huntingdon, Pa – The Juniata women's soccer team faced Geneva College at Gibbel Stadium on Friday afternoon. Both teams last met in 2024, where they drew 2-2 at Geneva.
Juniata got off four shots in the 1st half, before Geneva put one in the back of the net after a free kick was deflected into the net.
The 2nd half was a back-and-forth affair with both teams trading possession back and forth. The Eagles had a couple of opportunities to score, but both attempts were stalled by early runs that were called offside.
Juniata as a team had a total of seven shots, with three on goal. Savanna Murray had two shots total with one on goal. Camille McRoberts and Sydney Simpson also had a shot on goal each.
The Eagles return to the field tomorrow afternoon against Westminster at 3:00 PM.
