McGlaughlin, Stevens Each Score Twice Against Green Terror
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's lacrosse team lost to visiting McDaniel College, 13-4, on a soggy Wednesday evening at Gibbel Stadium.
Skyler Stevens and Ella McGlaughlin each scored twice while Elayna Stubbe had one assist. Caoilinn Heatley made six saves for the Eagles in the first half, while Francesca Ditsky made six saves in the second. Stubbe added four ground balls and four caused turnovers, while Mauger had six draw controls.
McGlaughlin carved through the Green Terror defense and scored to start the scoring for the Eagles thirty seconds in. McDaniel's offense got going from there, scoring five goals to lead by four after one.
The Green Terror dominated the second quarter, scoring seven more goals as they took a commanding 11-goal lead at halftime.
The Eagles improved in the second half, outscoring the visitors 3-1.
Juniata will return to action at home against Bryn Mawr on Wednesday at 4:00.
