2017 (Junior): Vasinko played in 31 matches in his junior campaign... recorded 202 kills, having a season high of 12 against Elmira (1/21)... had 181 digs... tallied 51 blocks.

2016 (Sophomore): Vasinko played in 23 matches in his sophomore year as an Eagle... totaled 178 kills and 71 digs... had a season high number of kills against East. Mennonite with 18 (2/5)... also logged a season high number of digs against Wells with 7 (2/6).

2015 (Freshman): Played in 13 matches and 18 sets ... totaled 23 kills and 21 digs .. notched a season-high six kills vs York (3/21).

Eagles’ Season Ends in NCAA Quarterfinals

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- For the third match in a row, Juniata men’s volleyball faced a deficit and needed a comeback to win their match against Wentworth in the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Leopards would not oblige as they defeated JC 3-0 on Friday night at Blake Arean on the campus of Springfield College. The Leopards advance to play SUNY New Paltz in tomorrow’s semifinals.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Staring down a 2-0 deficit against NYU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday night, the Juniata men’s volleyball team saved its biggest comeback of the season for the right time. The Eagles rallied for a thrilling 3-2 victory in front of a packed and raucous Memorial Gym crowd to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals next Friday in Springfield, Mass.

Men’s Volleyball Wins Five-Set Thriller Over EMU to Claim CVC Title

ARLINGTON, Va.- In the most fitting fashion, the 2017 Continental Volleyball Conference championship match went to five sets for the first time ever. To make it even more epic, it took more than 15 points to decide a champion. In the end, the Juniata men’s volleyball team came out on top as the Eagles recovered from a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2 and claim the CVC title.

Eagles Defeat Mustangs in CVC Semis; Advance to Championship Against EMU

ARLINGTON, Va.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team was one step away from the Continental Volleyball Conference title match on Friday as it faced off against Stevenson in the semifinals. The Eagles were able to get past their first hurdle as they defeated the defending champion Mustangs 3-1 to advance to the championship.

Quinn Peterson had a balanced effort for the Eagles with 11 kills, three service aces, three digs, and two block assists on the night.
Eagles Take Down Scarlet Raiders 3-0

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team hosted Rutgers-Newark in the penultimate regular season game on Friday night at Memorial Gym. The Eagles took care of the Scarlet Raiders in three sets winning by scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-21.

Mahlon Bender had seven kills on seven attempts for a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage.
Eagles Topple Mustangs 3-0

OWINGS MILLS, MD.- The last time Juniata and Stevenson met in men’s volleyball back on February 24, the two teams played four close sets with the Mustangs winning 3-1 in Huntingdon. On Friday night in Maryland, it was not nearly as close and it was the Eagles on the winning end in a 3-0 victory.

Eagles Take Down Royals 3-0

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata men’s volleyball hosted Eastern Mennonite on Tuesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles were looking for payback against the Royals for their 3-1 loss back on March 18 and earned it with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 28-26) victory.

Juniata Splits at Home Tri-Match

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata men’s volleyball hosted Vassar and Arcadia on Saturday afternoon in a tri-match at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles fell to the #4 Brewers 3-0 but defeated the Knights 3-0 in the last match of the day.

GREENVILLE, Pa.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team wrapped up its seventh straight match away from home on Tuesday night with a contest against Thiel. The Eagles took out the Tomcats in straight sets 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-17).

ARLINGTON, Va.- Following a nearly two-week layoff, the Juniata men’s volleyball team returned to the court as they faced off against Continental Volleyball Conference rival Marymount on Friday night. The Saints got the best of the Eagles as they won by the score of 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-22).

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.- The Juniata men’s volleyball team concluded the weekend with a pair of matches on the campus of Vassar College. The Eagles upset #11 MIT 3-2 in their first match but lost a close 3-2 decision to #6 Vassar in the final match of the afternoon.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The score may say otherwise but Juniata and Stevenson played a tight four-set match on Friday night at Memorial Gymnasium. It was no more than a three-point differential in all four sets but the Mustangs were able to defeat the Eagles 3-1.

PITTSFORD, NY- Juniata traveled up to New York State to participate in the Golden Flyer Invitational on the campus of Nazareth College on Friday. In the Eagles’ first match, Juniata needed five sets but was able to come away with a 3-2 victory over Johnson and Wales (RI).

NEWARK, NJ- The Juniata men’s volleyball team picked up its first win of the season, and the first for new head coach Glenn DeHaven, as the Eagles defeated Elmira 3-0. It was the second day of the CVC/UVC Crossover held at Rutgers-Newark.
