Field Hockey Shuts Out Drew 1-0 For First Landmark Win

MADISON, N.J.- Brittani’s Lafollette’s (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point) goal nearly nine and a half minutes into the second half was all Juniata field hockey needed as the Eagles defeated Drew 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. The win lifts the Eagles’ overall record to 4-7 and gives them their first Landmark Conference win of the season. The Rangers drop to 2-8 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

KEUKA, N.Y.- The Juniata field hockey team traveled to New York for a weeknight match with Keuka. The Eagles scored a season-high five goals on their way to a 5-0 win over the Wolves.

DOVER, DE- A day after dropping an overtime loss to Goucher, the Juniata field hockey team traveled to Delaware to take on the Wolverines of Wesley College. Sunday’s outcome was much better as the Eagles defeated Wesley by the score of 2-0.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team welcomes eight new players in 2016. These student-athletes join 15 returning players for an Eagles team coming off an 11-7 season last year and both a Landmark Semifinal and ECAC Mid-Atlantic Quarterfinal appearance.
