High School: Three-sport athlete at Mifflinburg ... earned three letters in field hockey, two letters in basketball, and four in track ... team captain and a First Team All-Conference midfielder in 2015 ... earned the District IV PIAA Sportsmanship Award ... CHANDLER, Ariz.- The ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad on Thursday. The squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2016-17 academic year. 13 members of the Juniata Field Hockey team were selected.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata scored twice early in the first half and that was all it needed as the Eagles defeated Frostburg 2-1 on Wednesday night at Knox Stadium. The win, JC’s fifth in its last six games, improves its record to 7-8 overall while the Bobcats drop to 5-11.
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata and Catholic field hockey teams faced off on an overcast and dreary day at Knox Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Both teams played a tough defensive game but Catholic was able to score the lone goal of the contest in the second half on its way to a 1-0 win.
DOVER, DE- A day after dropping an overtime loss to Goucher, the Juniata field hockey team traveled to Delaware to take on the Wolverines of Wesley College. Sunday’s outcome was much better as the Eagles defeated Wesley by the score of 2-0.
WASHINGTON, Pa.- Juniata traveled west on Tuesday night for a non-conference match with Washington and Jefferson. The Presidents scored once in each half as they went on to defeat the Eagles 2-0.
