Brenneman Leads Eagles at Dickinson Long-Short Invitational
Newville, Pa. – Olivia Brenneman paced the Juniata women's cross country team at the Paul Short Invitational on Saturday, leading the Eagles to a 28th-place team finish with a total time of 2:14:18.7 and an average of 26:51.8.
Brenneman turned in a strong performance as Juniata's top finisher, crossing the line in 25:04.3. She was followed by a pair of first-years, Gracie Gioiosa (26:15.6) and Sophia Moyer (26:19.0), who finished just four seconds apart to provide key points for the Eagles.
Cecelia Williams and Chloe Reilley rounded out Juniata's scoring five with times of 28:17.8 and 28:22.0, respectively. Paige Clemmer (31:06.4) and Justice Sheaffer (31:56.6) also contributed to the team's performance, adding depth to the lineup.
The Eagles will compete at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on October 18th.
