Women's Cross Country Opens the Year at the Father Bede Invitational
TYRONE, Pa.- The Juniata women's cross country team opened the season at the Father Bede Invitational hosted by Saint Francis, Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles took fifth on the afternoon, in a field that included Duquesne, Saint Francis, Central Connecticut, and Mercyhurst.
Juniata was led by a pair of first years as Grace Gioiosa finished 35th with a time of 17:21.90 and Sophia Moyer took 40th with a time of 18:17.60. Olivia Brenneman was 42nd with a time of 18:41.80, Chloe Reilley was right behind her at 43rd with a time of 19:24.60. Cecelia Williams took 45th with a time of 20:15.20. Beck Mensch was 47th finishing in 20:52.00 while Paige Clemmer was 48th clocking a 23:20.40.
Juniata returns to action at their home meet, September 12.
