Katrina Woods earns All-Region honors at NCAA Mid-East Regional meet
ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Juniata College sophomore Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors after finishing 29th at the NCAA Division III Mid-East Regional championship, held Saturday at DeSales University.
ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Juniata College sophomore Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors after finishing 29th at the NCAA Division III Mid-East Regional championship, held Saturday at DeSales University.
Woods posted a time of 23:57 over the 6000m course, and was the top Juniata women's finisher in the event. The Eagles finished 25th out of 47 teams in the event with 651 points.
Caroline Morgan (Havertown, Pa./Haverford Township) was 46th overall with a time of 24:24. Casey Hoffman (Coplay, Pa./Parkland) and Courtney Peterson (York, Pa./Central York) finished 184th and 185th respectively with times of 26:44 and 26:46.
Alyssa Cousins (Lemont, Pa./State College Area) was 207th with a mark of 27:19, while Kelsey Burton (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) was 269th in a time of 29:21.
