Christy Named Juniata Athlete of the Month for November
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata women's volleyball player Kennedy Christy was named the Juniata Women's Athlete of the Month for the month of November, as voted upon by members of the athletic department.
The graduate student helped the Eagles go 9-0 in November, not dropping a single set. She tallied 48 kills, 50 digs, 12 aces, five assists, and five total blocks in the month. In the first week of December, she helped the Eagles win their third straight National Championship and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the final three rounds.
About Juniata Athlete of the Month Award:
This academic year, we will be introducing the Juniata Athlete of the Month recognition as voted upon by the athletic department. Athletes are only allowed to win once per academic year. The purpose of these awards is to recognize the hard work and effort of our student-athletes.
