HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's volleyball program has a longstanding tradition of excellence, as shown by their 13 straight Landmark Conference Championships, 39 straight conference championships overall, and 39 straight appearances in the NCAA tournament. They are also one of only two teams to appear in every AVCA national poll since its inception in 1992.
Head Coach Heather Pavlik and Associate Head Coach Casey Dale welcome their first addition to the class of 2025 for the 2020 season.
Rachel Sullivan (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin Senior HS)
Position: Middle Hitter/Opposite
Club Team: Renaissance VBC
Rachel was a four-year letter winner at Norwin Senior High School where she was a Class 4A All-Star in 2020. She also made the All-Section Second Team this past season. Her club team, Renaissance VBC, earned bronze at the Steel City Freeze.
"Rachel is a very motivated, competitive and physical player," said Pavlik. "Her competitiveness and work ethic make her the perfect fit in the gym, but those same qualities make her an amazing fit in the classroom as well. She brings a positive and energetic personality to the table, which will serve her very well in our gym. We are all extremely excited to have her with us here in January!"
