GREENSBURG, Pa. - The women's tennis team traveled to Pitt. -Greensburg Saturday but returned with a 9-0 loss.
The Eagles lost by default in third doubles, followed by an 8-0loss from Payton Kough (Fayetteville, Pa.) and Shannon Snyder (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) in second doubles and an 8-0 loss by Jamie Mahigel (Lewistown, Pa. / Mifflin County HS) and Maggie Ackley (Clearville, PA) in first doubles next.
JC took a loss in sixth singles by default, followed by a 6-0, 6-0 loss from Kough in fifth singles. Snyder lost 6-0, 6-0 in fourth singles with a 6-0, 6-0 loss from Mahigel in first singles next. Courtney Eller (Colver, Pa. / Central Cambria HS) lost 6-6, 6-0 in third singles, followed by a 7-6, 6-1 loss from Ackley in second singles.
