HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's tennis team defeated Susquehanna, 8-1 in a conference match, Wednesday afternoon.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's tennis team defeated Susquehanna, 8-1 in a conference match, Wednesday afternoon.
Lauren Lucas (Holidaysburg, Pa. / Altoona Area HS) won 6-1, 6-3 at first singles, Katherine Conklin (Freehold, N.J. / Freehold Township) earned a 6-1, 6-4 win at second singles, and Savannah Bailey (Rockville, Md. / Richard Montgomery) won 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 at third singles. Emily Dowler (Rochester, N.Y. / Brighton) earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at fourth singles and Jana Wegener (Lower Saxon / Germany) won 6-2, 6-3 at fifth singles.
Lucas and Conklin teamed up to win 8-2 at first doubles, Bailey and Wegener won 8-4 at second doubles and Dowler and Grace Lewis (Northampton, Pa. / Northampton Area HS) earned a 8-6 win at third doubles.
