Juniata Women’s Swimming Earns CSCAA Academic Award
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s swimming team was awarded College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors for the second year in a row, the governing body announced recently.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women's swimming team was awarded College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors for the second year in a row, the governing body announced recently.
"This award demonstrates that the team's priorities are getting their work done," said head coach Nathan Smith. "They have been successful athletically while at a challenging academic institution. They earned a team GPA that is competitive with any program in the country."
The team award is given to college or university swim programs that has achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher in the semester coinciding with their respective national swimming and diving championship.
The Eagles 3.37 team GPA landed them 55th out of 138 programs to qualify for the prestigious award. Also receiving the award from the Landmark conference were the Drew men's program and the Goucher and Susquehanna women's programs.
