KINGS POINT, N.Y. – Juniata College earned 29 more points on the final day of competition and finished in seventh place with 106 points at the 2009 Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, which concluded Sunday night in Kings Point, N.Y.
KINGS POINT, N.Y – Juniata College sophomore Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) finished fourth overall in the 100 yard Breaststroke, the best individual finish by an Eagle thus far in the Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships and the Juniata highlight of day two results at the meet in Kings Point, N.Y. The United States Merchant Marine Academy is serving as the host institution for the event.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Sophomore Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) and freshman Evan Beatty (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) each posted a pair of individual first-place finishes to lead the Juniata College women’s swimming team to a 107-83 win over Penn State-Altoona, Saturday afternoon at Juniata’s Binder Natatorium in Huntingdon, Pa.

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s swim team took on Millersville University and Cabrini College in a tri-meet on Saturday in Millersville, Pa., falling 73-22 to Millersville and 59-36 to Cabrini.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s swimming team was picked to finish seventh this season, in preseason voting among the league’s head women’s swimming & diving coaches and sports information directors.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Juniata College women’s swimming team opened its 2008-09 season with a 139-94 loss to Chatham University, Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh, Pa.
