Gibbs Honored as Landmark Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's lacrosse standout Grace Gibbs (Arnold, Md. / Broadneck) was named Landmark Athlete of the Week after helping the Eagles go 3-0 on their two-game road trip through Virginia before they picked up a home win on the weekend. The team is currently on a six-game winning streak.  

Gibbs totaled 15 points last week, with 14 goals and an assist to go with 17 ground balls, 19 draw controls, and 11 caused turnovers. 

The Eagles won 19-10 at Bridgewater on Tuesday, 17-7 at Averett, before taking down Bethany at Gibbel 16-3. 

Women's lacrosse will travel to Chatham for a 7:00 PM game before they begin conference play this weekend when they host Goucher at 1:00.
