Women's Golf Finishes Strong at Landmarks
Delaware, Pa.- Women's golf competed in the second round of the Landmark Conference Tournament at Shawnee Inn & Golf Club at Shawnee on the Delaware today shooting 410 in cold and windy conditions. The Eagles stayed pat to finish conference play in eigth place out of nine teams.
Lily Stewart led scoring again for the Eagles shooting 95 on a challenging track. Stewart rocks a T20 finish in her second Landmark Conference Tournament appearence where she finished strong on a par.
Molly Schweitzer made her debut at Landmarks finishing in solo 28th. Schweitzer snagged a challenging par on her second hole of the day setting the tone for the 98 she finished with.
Madeline Bainey found a 12 shot improvement on day two at Shawnee shooting 98. Bainey braved the cold following up her teammate Molly for a par on the second to set her up for a 33rd place finish.
Sandy Milby rounded out her career in the blue and gold with one final appearence at Landmarks. Milby shot 119 to finish up her career in 42nd place overall with one last strong outing.
The Eagles finish up their season with a smile as they saw improvement across all aspects of the game they will look to take with them next season.
