Schweitzer Shines at Sinking Valley
Sinking Valley, Pa.- Women's golf took on their last regular season event of the year, shooting 398 as a team playing with only a team of four due to injury.
Molly Schweitzer shined bright in the last event of her first year representing the blue and gold, collecting a 94 at Sinking Valley. Schweitzer found par after par on a challenging track, shooting one of her best collegiate rounds. Lily Stewart walked into the clubhouse holding a 94 on her scorecard as well tying her teammate. Stewart sank putt after putt enroute to a dominant performance. Madeline Bainey broke 100 today, shooting 97 on tough greens. Bainey sets herself up nicely for the Landmark Conference Championships this coming weekend. Sandy Milby rounded out the scoring for the Eagles, shooting a 113 at Sinking Valley. Milby has been gathering momentum and will look to bring it into the weekend.
Women's Golf plays next April 26th and 27th at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in the Landmark Conference Championships.
