BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata women's basketball team lost on the road, 74-52, Saturday afternoon inside Johnston Hall.
Bri Bodtorf led the way with 17 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, four steals, and a block. Olivia Berg totaled 11 points and two rebounds. Emma Coolidge tallied seven points, eight rebounds, and one assist, while Leah Skweres added six points, three rebounds, and three steals off the bench.
Berg opened the game with a three-pointer off a Bodtorf assist, and the Greyhounds countered with one of their own.
Coolidge made a jumper to bring Juniata back within one, 12-11. Moravian closed the quarter with an 8-2 surge as JC trailed 20-13 at the break.
Moravian controlled the second quarter, outscoring the Eagles 23-9, including outscoring them 12-2 to start.
JC trailed 43-22 at the half.
Moravian narrowly outscored the Eagles in the second half, 31-30.
The Greyhounds outscored the Eagles 43-40, while Juniata had a 32-28 advantage on points in the paint.
Juniata will host Lycoming on Wednesday at 7:00.
