Juniata Men's XC Takes 23rd at Regionals
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata men's cross country team closed out a competitive field on Saturday, placing 23rd overall at the men's 8K event with a team total of 2:30:09 and an average time of 30:01 across its scoring five.
Junior McClain Reamer paced the Eagles with a strong effort, crossing the line in 28:39.0 to finish 115th in a field of more than 200 runners. He was followed by sophomore Adam Gallo, who posted a 29:35.7 to place 136th, giving Juniata its second finisher inside the top 140.
First-year Roy Henderson was next across for the Eagles, clocking a 30:24.4 for 154th, while sophomore Jacob Alexander added a 30:30.4 finish to take 156th. First-year Clark Gaynor rounded out the scoring five with a 30:59.5, earning 167th.
Junior Conrad Coffey closed Juniata's lineup with a 32:38.7 finish.
Johns Hopkins won the team title with an impressive 23-point performance, placing its entire scoring group inside the top nine.
The Eagles now turn their focus to winter training as they begin preparations for the upcoming indoor track & field season.
