Coffey Leads Juniata Men at Landmark Cross Country Championships
Clark, NJ — The Juniata College men's cross country team wrapped up its Landmark Conference Championship meet with a strong collective effort, placing several runners inside the top 75 in a deep and competitive field that featured six teams with multiple all-conference performers.
Leading the way for the Eagles was Conrad Coffey, who clocked a 27:08.94 to finish 40th overall in the 8K race.
Just behind him was McClain Reamer (So.), placing 41st with a time of 27:09.50, marking one of the closest finishes among teammates in the entire meet. Adam Gallo (So.) crossed next in 44th (27:12.37), notching a season-best mark, while freshman Roy Henderson continued his breakout campaign with a 68th-place finish (28:43.50, PR).
Rounding out Juniata's scoring five was Jake Alexander (So.), who finished 69th (28:48.32), followed by Clark Gaynor (So.), who ran a personal best of 28:55.51 to close the Eagles' team effort.
Moravian captured the team title behind a dominant showing from four top-10 finishers, while Susquehanna's Derick Blair earned the individual crown with a time of 24:28.85.
Juniata's focus now shifts toward the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, where the Eagles will look to cap their season with another strong showing against regional competition.
