Landmark Names Dimond Athlete of the Week
Senior Conor Dimond was recognized as Landmark Conference's men's cross country athlete of the week for the second time this season.
Huntingdon, Pa. - Senior Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills) was recognized as Landmark Conference's men's cross country athlete of the week for the second time this season.
Dimond has led the Eagles in every event this season; the DeSales Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 8, was no exception. He placed 12th out of the 251 runners with a time of 26:10, surpassing his personal best that he set at the 2016 Lock Haven Invitational (Sept. 24). He was recognized as Landmark's athlete of the week after his performace at the Lock Haven Invitational as well.
At the DeSales Invitational, Dimond and the Eagles placed 10th overall out of 38 schools.
Both the men's and women's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Gettysburg Invitational, the last contest before the Landmark Championships on Oct. 29.
