Dimond Recognized as Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week

Huntingdon, Pa. - Senior Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills) earned Landmark Conference's athlete of week for men's cross country after his performance at the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 24.
Dimond finished 12th out of 202 contestants on Saturday, the first to cross the finish line for Juniata. In doing so, he achieved a new personal best. He finished with a time of 26:16.20 in the 8k race, which is 16 seconds faster than his previous personal best. His previous time (26:32.1) was set at the 2015 Lock Haven Invitational.
In each of Juniata's races this fall, Dimond has led the Eagles, as he finished fifth in the Moravian Invitational and 14th in the Bison Open.
