Men’s cross country finishes fourth on Landmark preseason poll

The Eagles, who return one of their top runners from last season Nate Alter (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice), earned 30 points in the voting just nine points behind No. 3 Scranton.
Moravian College earned seven first-place votes to earn first with 70 points, with Susquehanna taking second with one first-place nod and 50 points.
Merchant Marine came in fifth on the preseason poll with 25 points, followed by Goucher who earned 18 points. Rounding out the poll is Catholic (16 points) and Drew (8 points).
Juniata opens its 2012 season on Friday, August 31, when it travels to Lewisburg, Pa., to compete in the Bucknell Opener.
