Alter paces Juniata men at NCAA Mid-East Regional meet
ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Juniata College sophomore Nate Alter (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) was the top male finisher in the NCAA Mid-East Regional meet, held Saturday at DeSales University.

Alter posted a 67th place finish with a time of 27:23 on the 8000m course, as Juniata finished 28th out of 47 teams in the event with 769 points.
Junior Ryan Trexler (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) was the next highest Juniata finisher, placing 119th with a time of 28:16.
Trevor Stephens (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) and Pete Mullins (Verona, Pa./Penn Hills) were the only other Juniata runners to finish among the top 200, placing 177th (29:14) and 183rd (29:19) overall.
Ceth Parker (Sabillasville, Md./Catoctin) was 223rd with a time of 30:02, while Connor Robinson (Asheville, N.C./Asheville) was 239th with a mark of 30:30. John Lugg (Lock Haven, Pa./Western Reserve Academy, Ohio) posted a time of 31:58, and was 277th overall.
