Sierer Named Continental Volleyball Conference Player of the Week

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata men's volleyball standout Will Sierer was named the Continental Volleyball Conference Player of the Week after leading the Eagles to three wins, including a pair of wins over ranked opponents.

The junior setter averaged 9.36 assists per set over the three matches, with a high of 52 assists against #10 Baldwin-Wallace. He added 23 assists and three digs in win over #8 Messiah and 28 assists and six digs in a sweep of Chatham. 

Sierer totaled 103 assists in the three matches, adding two kills, five blocks, and 16 digs. The Eagles hit .274 on the week as a team, including .483 against Chatham.

He is the second Eagle to get this award; Dante Palombo received the honor earlier in the season.
