No. 1 Juniata Still Atop the AVCA Poll
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has voted the Juniata College men’s volleyball team No. 1 for the third consecutive week. This is the first time since 2010 that the Eagles have been at No. 1 for three weeks straight. Juniata (20-3) received six first place votes and tied with Springfield College at 186 points to earn a share of the top spot.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has voted the Juniata College men's volleyball team No. 1 for the third consecutive week. This is the first time since 2010 that the Eagles have been at No. 1 for three weeks straight. Juniata (20-3) received six first place votes and tied with Springfield College at 186 points to earn a share of the top spot.
Juniata went 2-0 last week against Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) opponents and have won 10 of their last 11 matches. SUNY New Paltz held onto its No. 3 position with 175 points, receiving two first place votes. Carthage and Rivier tied for fourth place with 143 points to round out the top five programs in the country.
No. 12 Lakeland and No. 15 Stevenson are the only other CVC schools in the top 15 with Juniata and Carthage. To view the full AVCA poll, click here.
