Distance Shines at Shippensburg
Shippensburg, Pa.- The men's track team took a trip out to compete in the SU Mid-Week PR Bonanza at Shippensburg.
Conrad Coffey started out with the distance dominance for the Eagles in the 1500 meters with a seventh-place finish (4:25.42). McClain Reamer, Adam Gallo, Clark Gaynor, and Andrew Quinn finished in eighth, ninth, tenth, and 13th in the 1,500 meters as well.
The Eagles were also successful in the 4x400 with a second-place finish (3:27.29) from Parker Thomas, Djemba Ndikwe, Jacob Alexander, and Josh Wilson.
In the sprints, Colson Lewis continued his reign of dominance with an eighth-place finish in the 100 meters (10.69) and fifth place in the 200 meters. Djemba Ndikwe has been elite as a first-year and picked up another top ten finish in the 400 meters with a time of 49.64.
