Lewis Sets School Record at Susquehanna Valentine Invite
Selinsgrove, Pa. – The Juniata College men's track and field team delivered a strong showing at the Susquehanna Valentine Invite.
Colson Lewis continued his dominant run this winter in the 60m with a time of 7.03 and a podium finish in second place. Lewis would next take on the 200m, where he dominated the field with a 22.53, setting a program record in the process.
Deric Fritzges did not play around in the 800m final, posting a time of 2:00.81 to secure a second-place finish overall after winning a stacked heat with seven members of his heat placing in the top eight overall.
Conrad Coffey and Adam Gallo finished strong in the 5000m with tenth and 15th-place finishes, respectively. Coffey led the two with a time of 16:38.89, and Gallo followed with a 16:52.58 finish.
Jacob Alexander showed out strongly in the field for Juniata as he secured an eighth-place finish with a jump of 1.78 m. Gavin Robb continued the momentum in the field in the pole vault, finishing in seventh place with a vault of 4.00 m.
