HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Juniata men's tennis team locked up a spot in the Landmark Playoffs as they defeated Susquehanna University, 6-1, Wednesday evening.
Maksims Kazancevs and Arthur DeYoung cruised at first doubles 6-0, Maxime Poustis and Gustaf Geremia got the win at second doubles 6-3, while Dillon Murphy and Lars Herms won at third doubles 6-1.
Kazancevs won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles, Poustis battled to win at second singles 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 while DeYoung emerged with a victory 6-0, 6-3 at third singles. Sethia lost narrowly at fourth singles 7-5, 2-6, 5-7, while Geremia took fifth singles 7-5, 6-4 while Herms was the winner at sixth singles 6-4, 77-64.
Juniata will wrap up their regular season against the University of Scranton, Friday at 4:00.
