MADISON, N.J. – The Juniata men's tennis team competed against Drew Saturday afternoon and fell 8-1 against the Rangers.
The duo of Axel Chabbert and Kyle Louder was beaten in second doubles 8-1, while Martin Munoz and Utsav Deravariya fell 8-2 in first doubles. The team of Dillon Murphy and Ezenna Emuka was swept 8-0 in third doubles.
Munoz was the lone singles winner for the Eagles, beating his opponent 6-4,6-1 in first singles. Deravariya fell 6-0, 6-0 in second doubles. Chabbert lost 6-1, 6-0 in third singles, while Murphy was beaten 6-0, 6-0 in fourth singles. Louder and Emuka both fell to their opponents in fifth and sixth singles 6-0, 6-0, and 6-0, 6-1, respectively.
The Eagles travel to Scranton tomorrow, March 26, for a 1:00 pm start.
