BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The men's tennis team traveled to Moravian Saturday but lost against the Greyhounds 8-1.
In first doubles, Ilia Buralkin (Moscow, Russia) and Utsav Dhir Deravariya (India / Sunway University) lost 8-1 while Victor J.B Jung (Normandy, France) and William Michelson (Old Mystic, Conn. / Stonington) lost 8-6 in second doubles and Ezenna Emuka (Houston, Texas / William B. Travis) and Keisuke Maeda (Tokyo, Japan / Nihon University) lost 8-0 in third doubles.
In singles play, Buralkin won 6-2, 6-3 in first singles while Michelson lost 6-4, 63-77 in second singles and Dhir Deravariya lost 6-3, 6-2 in third singles. In fourth singles Emuka lost 6-0, 6-0 while Jung lost 6-1, 6-0 in fifth singles and Maeda lost 6-0, 6-1 in sixth singles.
The men's tennis team travels to Elizabethtown on Sunday, April 24 for a 1:00 pm start.
