Men's Tennis Defeats Stevenson

SALISBURY, Md.- The Juniata men's tennis team defeated Stevenson, 7-2 on Sunday.

SALISBURY, Md.- The Juniata men's tennis team defeated Stevenson, 7-2 on Sunday.

Matyas Kohout (Prague, Czech Republic / Gymnasium Jizni Mesto) and Dan Ansel (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) won 8-5 at first doubles, Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay / EIHU) and Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) won 8-2 at second doubles, and Daichi McAuilffe-Uchida (Wantage, N.J. / High Point Regional HS) and Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) won 8-6 at third doubles.

Liberman won 6-3, 6-1 at first singles; McAuliffe-Uchida won 3-6, 6-0,6-1 at third singles; Grafe won 6-1, 6-4 at fifth singles; and Gerber won 6-2, 7-5 at sixth singles.

The Eagles will return Wednesday, March 14th. They will face Penn St.- Altoona at 4:30PM.
