Juniata Men’s Swimming Opens Landmark Championships with Strong Relay Performances
Baltimore, Md. – The Juniata College men's swimming team opened competition Thursday evening at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships at Loyola University Maryland, highlighted by a pair of top-seven relay finishes.
200 Medley Relay – 7th Place (1:40.92)
The quartet of Marshall Radonovich, Max Baronner, Matt Rota, and Wyatt Cole placed seventh overall with a time of 1:40.92.
Radonovich led off in 26.28 before Baronner posted a 27.73 breaststroke split. Rota followed in 24.59 on the butterfly leg, and Cole anchored in 22.32 to close out the evening's first swim for the Eagles.
800 Freestyle Relay – 6th Place (7:29.75)
Juniata capped the night with a sixth-place finish in the 800 freestyle relay, improving significantly on its seed time to touch in 7:29.75.
Radonovich opened in 1:50.60, followed by Baronner (1:56.22), Yui Inagi (1:54.12), and Cole anchoring in 1:48.81 to secure key team points.
Team Standings
Through five events, Juniata sits tied for sixth place in the men's team standings with 50 points.
The Eagles return to action Friday as the championship meet continues.
