Juniata Men’s Swimming Controls Home Meet, Defeats Lebanon Valley 150–43
Huntingdon, Pa. — The Juniata men's swimming and diving team delivered an impressive performance in its home opener on Saturday, powering past Lebanon Valley by a 150–43 margin inside Binder Natatorium.
The Eagles started strong with a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay, as Logan Stewart, Max Baronner, Wyatt Cole, and Ben Schultz combined for a time of 1:58.45. From there, Juniata carried momentum through nearly every event, winning 10 of 11 races on the day.
Marshall Radonovich led the way with victories in both the 200 freestyle (2:10.01) and 100 backstroke (1:06.69). Wyatt Cole added a win in the 200 IM (2:29.09) and claimed another top finish in the 100 freestyle (59.31), while Baronner earned gold in the 50 freestyle (26.74) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.72).
In the distance races, Yui Inagi (10:16.06) and Christian Rota (10:31.63) took second and third, respectively, in the 800 freestyle, before Cody Hartle claimed runner-up in the 400 freestyle (4:47.20). Matthew Rota also stood out, winning the 100 butterfly (1:05.15).
Juniata sealed the meet with another relay victory, as Inagi, Rota, Radonovich, and Schultz posted a time of 1:48.60 in the 200 freestyle relay, securing the men's overall team win and a dominant sweep for the program.
