M. Mattioni, Rauhut Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Juniata men's soccer standouts Gavin Rauhut and Maxwell Mattioni were named to the United Soccer Coaches Division III Region 5 All-Region team. Rauhut made the third team, while Mattioni made the fourth team. 

Mattioni was named to the fourth team, his second time on an all-region team after making the first team last season. He was named to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team and the ECAC Championship All-Tournament Team after helping the team to its second consecutive ECAC Championship. He had an .829 save percentage and 11 shutouts on the year, with a 0.62 goals against average. The defense broke the shutout record for the second consecutive season. 

Rauhut makes the third team for the second straight year, after garnering all-conference second team honors and being named ECAC Championship MVP. Rauhut had five goals and three assists on the year, tallying three game-winning goals.
