Men's Soccer Concedes Late, Falls to Pitt-Bradford
BRADFORD, Pa.- Two first half goals were not enough as the Juniata men’s soccer team dropped a tight, 3-2 decision at Pitt-Bradford, Saturday afternoon at the Kessel Athletic Complex.

BRADFORD, Pa.- Two first half goals were not enough as the Juniata men's soccer team dropped a tight 3-2 decision at Pitt-Bradford, Saturday afternoon at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
Jacob Grove (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin HS) and Wyatt Page (King of Prussia, Pa./ Shipley) each scored once while Johnny King (York Springs, Pa./Bermudian Springs) had an assist.
King found Grove 11 minutes into the contest as Grove scored his first collegiate goal and gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead. 11 minutes later, Page curled in a free kick from 25 yards out to double the Eagle lead.
Pitt-Bradford got on back in the 32nd minute to narrow the gap to one. Juniata went into the locker room at halftime with a 2-1 lead.
Juniata put three shots on goal in the opening 10 minutes of the second half, but the Pitt-Bradford keeper was equal to each of them.
In the 71st minute, the Panthers struck again to tie the score at 2-2. In final minutes of the game, Pitt-Bradford netted a winner to complete their comeback.
Juniata held a 13-8 edge in shots and a 8-1 edge in corner kicks.
The Eagles will play at Lancaster Bible, Wednesday at 4:00.
